By using the system the coaches easily measure objective performance data.
Easy handling and analysis in an online environment.
Automatically generated reports by just one click. No effort has to be put in number crunching.
With the JOHAN Sports system coaches get an extra set of eyes on their players during every training and match. A digital all-seeing eye which measures the performance and recovery of the players. With this, coaches can achieve:
JOHAN measures the following of the players:
The movements are measured by both a GPS and an IMU sensor, which leads to accurate 3D motion tracking (for a more detailed description see here). We are compatible with most heart rate and we integrate beats per minute and R-R interval into our data. Lastly, players can fill out forms in our online environment to measure their subjective response (recovery, exertion and injury).
JOHAN has made the data organisation (data from trackers to online environment) very easy and quick. With only a few steps and within a couple of minutes all data is online (dependent on the internet speed) ready for analysis. A more detailed explanation of our data organisation can be seen here.
We are independent of external hardware, thus our system can be used anywhere in the world. The only restriction is that it cannot be used for indoor measurements at the moment (but we are working on that;). The only thing that is needed for analysis is an internet connection.
Our online environment offers easy to interpret dashboards for coaches to turn insights into action:
One of our easy to interpret dashboards is our Goals module. We estimate the optimal future training load for each player in the team based on historical data, which can be monitored in the Weekly Goals module. Next to that, we have a training checker (called Training Goals) where it can be checked whether the goal of the training has been achieved.
All parameters that are measured tell a different story about the physical status of the player.
The measured performance data is considered as external load in sports science: what can a player deliver on the field.
The forms and heart rate are called internal load parameters and have a more direct relation with the players physical status: how is a player feeling during the exercise.
JOHAN offers both types of variables because together they give a complete picture of the players physical status.
